Our Mission

Climate Action Labs is a global climate action network are promoting university-hosted programs designed to foster student and faculty leadership in climate action innovation. Our mission is to incubate transformative projects that not only advance sustainability within university campuses but also scale up to benefit the surrounding cities and bio-regions. By leveraging academic expertise and community collaboration, we aim to create regenerative urban and ecological systems that thrive on principles of resilience, sustainability, and inclusivity.

Our Approach

1. Action-Research and Incubation

• Student and Faculty Projects: We support innovative climate action projects led by students and faculty, providing resources, mentorship, and a collaborative environment to turn ideas into impactful solutions.

• Campus as a Living Lab: Our universities serve as testbeds for sustainability initiatives, where real-world applications of climate action strategies are developed and refined.

2. Community and City Partnerships

• City Government Collaboration: Projects are designed with scalability in mind, ensuring they can be extended beyond the campus to benefit the city and its inhabitants.
